Amish Haus Furniture was founded in 1994 by the Wagschal Family in Davenport, IA. At that time, the store was just 3000 square feet, and we sold mainly oak Amish-built furniture.

Since that time, we expanded a couple of times, and built a new 18,000 square foot facility in Davenport in 2001.

Our second location opened in Des Moines (Urbandale) in 1996 and has also expanded in size as well as selection. Both stores now carry a full line of furniture and accessories for every room in your home.

We changed our name to Wagschal Furniture in 2003 to reflect the broadened selection that now includes upholstery, leather, rugs, and a variety of interesting accessories that bring your rooms to life.

We are more than just a family-owned furniture store. We are focused on quality, service, American-made products, and brands that you can't find at other stores.

We offer free professional design service to help you create an inviting, comfortable room for your family.

Our own delivery service is second to none, and is always "when you want it."
